Patricia Elkins Hodges

Patricia Elkins Hodges of Leicester, NC, went home to be with the Lord on June 21, 2019 at the age of 73. Patricia was born December 18, 1945, alumni of A.C. Reynolds High School and long time manager of Rite Aid Pharmacy. 

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Carl and Norma Elkins, her sisters, Helen Hollifield, Martha Vardiman and her husband Floyd “hoppy” Vardiman, Brenda Martin, her brother Tommy Elkins, her daughter Carla Elliott and her great-granddaughter Marlee Ramos.

Surviving are her husband William Carey Hodges, brothers Donald Elkins and Jimmy Elkins, daughters Valerie Hubbard and Helen Lindsey, grandchildren Patrick Pike, Letasha Ramos, Alex Elliott and Justin Ward, and 5 great grandchildren. 

Celebration of life service is to be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Riverside Baptist Church with Pastor John Honeycutt officiating. The family will receive friends at 6:00 pm. 

In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to Patricia’s favorite charity, St. Jude’s children’s hospital, in her name.
