Martin Kent Lilly

Martin Kent Lilly, 57, of Weaverville, NC passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at his home. Born November 9, 1961 in Alma, MI, he was a son of the late Alfred Leroy Lilly and Roxie Ann Roberson Lilly. He was employed as a HVAC technician for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors and was a self-proclaimed grill master, but what he cherished the most was spending time with his family and spoiling his grandchildren. Surviving are his children: Christopher Thomas and his spouse, Nikole, of Asheville, NC, Jessica Haynie and her spouse, Brian, of Weaverville, NC, and Jennifer Payne and her spouse, Steven, of Flower Mound, TX; brother, Mark Lilly and his spouse, Debra, of Morganton, NC; best friend and mother of his children, Michele Thomas; and ten wonderful grandchildren: Josh, Jordan, Draven, Bradley, Hailey, MaKenzy, Cherish, Deziray, Alyliah, and Emma. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 14, 2019 in the chapel of Asheville Area Alternative Funeral and Cremation Services.
