Len Harvey Jenkins

Len “Harvey” Jenkins, 77, of Marshall, NC, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at the CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville. After devoting 55 years to the love of his life, and just as many years developing and instructing four children, Harvey received his reward by entering God’s presence. His legacy of love, kindness, joy, laughter, generosity, family, and work ethic will forever be remembered by those who knew him, his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Jeanette; children: Mark and wife, Tina, Tanja and husband, Tommy, Pam and Jon, Penny and husband, Jerry; sisters, Estelle Jenkins of Asheville and Ruth Wright of Denver, CO. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren were blessed to experience his servant’s heart.
Funeral Services will be held, Monday, June 5, 2017, at 2:00PM at the Church at Asheville, 79 Piney Mountain Dr, Asheville, NC 28805. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Beaverdam Freewill Baptist Church, 68 Wise RD, Candler, NC 28715. The family will be gathering at the home of Larry and Ramona Nix.
