Kathleen Cabe

Kathleen Cabe, 75, of Hendersonville, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the CarePartners Solace Center in Asheville.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her father, Rev. Julius N. Owen; mother, Florence McCall Owen; brothers: John C., Harold, Ford, Frank, Gerald, Roger and Randall Owen. Survived by her daughter, Donna White of Tickfaw, LA; sons, Keith Phillips and wife Jeralene of Mills River, NC, Mark Cabe of Mills River, NC; sisters: Jewell McCall of Hendersonville, Joetta Owen and husband Paul of Boynton Beach,FL, Iris Galloway and husband Joe Dan of Lake Toxaway; sister-in-law-Mildred Owen of Brevard; grandchildren, Kristina Paz and husband Ubaldo of Tickfaw, LA, Denver Worley and wife Clove of Fairview, NC, Kyra Phillips, Kaylie Phillips and 4 great grandchildren, Kristopher, Kristabella, Kataleya, amd Kamilo.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Mills River United Methodist Church.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church's community senior program, MRLEC, which Kathleen was one of the founding volunteers and remained active as a volunteer.
