Jon Scott Lopanik

Jon Scott Lopanik of Hendersonville, NC, passed away on February 22, 2017.   He worked in the electrical business and was a volunteer fireman in New Jersey for over twenty years. After moving to Hendersonville, he worked as a long-distance truck driver. Also known as “Red” and “Buzzy”, Scott was well liked for his colorful stories and willingness to help people. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mabel Lopanik, of Hendersonville, NC. He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law of Hendersonville, NC, Robyn & Tom Iuliano. Three brothers and one sister-in-law, Robert Lopanik of Charleston, SC, Bruce and Darlene Lopanik of Mendham, NJ, and Mark Lopanik of Sparta, NJ. We invite you to his memorial service at the Fletcher Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1141 Howard Gap Rd, Hendersonville, NC, on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 2:30 p.m.  There will be an opportunity during the service for you to share your thoughts and favorite memories.
