Howard McDonald Wilson Obituary

Howard “Bud” McDonald Wilson, 82, of Weaverville, NC, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Mission Hospital St. Joseph Campus.
A native of Buncombe County, Howard graduated from Red Oak School in Alexander, NC in 1953. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force, and retired after 40 years of service from Mills Manufacturing in Woodfin, NC. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles William Wilson; mother, Ada Davis Wilson; and brother, Allen Wilson.
Surviving Howard is his loving wife of 59 years, Katherine Ballard Wilson; children: Charles Wilson of Flat Creek, NC, Michael Wilson of Woodfin, NC, and Lisa Pagel and partner, Keith, of Weaverville, NC; brothers, Charles “Dude” Wilson and wife, Mary Evelyn, of Alexander, NC, and Larry Wilson and wife, Sylvia, of Weaverville, NC; sister-in-law, Carolyn Wilson of Weaverville, NC; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church in Weaverville, NC with the family receiving friends afterwards.
