Not a day goes by that I don't think about us. From camping with Girl Scouts singing ace of base to sleepovers waking up to your mom cooking breakfast.
We were each other's first best friends.
I will also never forget the last time we sat on your swing set before I moved overseas. We made promises of a life long sisterhood through tears, but unfortunately our promises fell short.
I regret never calling you, never seeing you before you left for South America, never making an effort when I moved to Asheville.

It was such a joy and honor to be a part of Erin's life. Though I knew her for a little over two months, she became one of my closest and dearest friends. We came into each other's lives just when we most needed each other. Our unconditional love and support of each other is something I will treasure for the rest of my life. Her open-heartedness and love of life inspire me to live more openly and fully. Thank you Alex and family for helping to nurture one of the most kind and beautiful souls I've ever known.
