Charles Crain Obituary

Charles “Charlie” Lawrence Crain, 72, of Asheville passed away suddenly on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. Born on January 1, 1946, he was a son of the late Clarence and Grace Crain. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Larry Crain, and a brother, Mack Crain. He was employed by Youngs Roofing in Asheville for many years. Surviving are his children, Angela Crain and Melissa Crain both of Asheville, and Beth Tolley and her spouse, Nathan, of Candler; step-daughter, Angela Lunsford of Asheville; siblings, Christine Dobbins of Greenville, SC and Wid Crain of Asheville; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A private service will be held.
