Calvin Langford Obituary

Calvin Herman Langford, 63, of Asheville passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 3, 2019. Son of the late Harold P. Langford and the late Ava Crowder Langford, Calvin was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School (1974), Brevard College, and Asheville-Buncombe Technical Institute School of Nursing. He was a carpenter, and later a nurse for over 20 years here in Buncombe County. Calvin enjoyed fishing, nature, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter Casey L. Blackwell, her husband Jott, and their children, Dax and Marlee; siblings Shelia Langford Hall, Jim Langford, Jane Langford and her partner Jennifer Dale, and Effie (Elaine) Langford Ballis and her husband, Chris.

A memorial service will be held
Friday June 7, 2019 at 3 PM
