Tommy Dennis Helms

Tommy Dennis Helms, 63, of Old Fort passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals in Asheville. Born on November 16, 1954 in Union County, NC, ne was a son of the late J.D. Helms and Eloise Helms. Surviving are his siblings, Barbara Forrester and her spouse, Dewey, Edie Helms and his spouse, Carson, and Dale Helms all of Monroe. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Altan Presbyterian Church, 108 Sandy Ridge Road West, Monroe, NC with Pastor Bob Childs officiating.
