Richard Joshua Harrison

Richard Joshua “Josh” Harrison, 36, of Weaverville passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 5, 2017.  He was born in Charlotte, but was raised in Gastonia, and was the son of Richard Karl Harrison of Mt. Holly and Teresa Rogers Harrison of Weaverville.  He attended Victory Christian Academy, graduated from South Pont High School in Belmont, and was employed at Forest Millwork in Asheville.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Kaleb Harrison of Maiden; sister, Heather Moore and her spouse, Tim, of Gastonia, and grandparents, Jim and Barbara Rogers of Weaverville and Eva Harrison of Mt. Holly.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Weaverville with Rev. Skip Gillikin officiating.
