Patricia "Patti" Anne Rowan

FLETCHER, NC — Patricia “Patti” Anne Rowan, 66, died Sunday, March 5, 2017, in Park Ridge Hospital.  

She was born Feb. 8, 1951, in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of the late Richard Eugene Gaut and the late Patsy (Patricia) Jane Proffitt Gaut.

She graduated from Central High School in Knoxville, TN, and attended colleges in Tennessee and North Carolina. She excelled in art and worked in the art field before becoming a wife and mother. She was a member of the Hendersonville Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her husband, John Patrick Rowan, of Hendersonville; two daughters, Reanna Edwards and her husband, Nick Edwards, of Morganton, and Cari Rowan of Hendersonville; one son, Joshua Paul Burrell of Jupiter, Fla.; four grandchildren, Rowan Dean Edwards of Morganton, Ellerie Jane Rowan of Hendersonville; Delaney and Jensyn Burrell of Jupiter, Fla., and Jace Logan Burrell of Florida; two sisters, Marlicia Gaut-Correll and her husband, Philip K. Correll, of Hendersonville, and Jennifer Gaut Corpening and her husband, Bryan Corpening, of Saluda; a nephew, Dylan Gaut Correll of New York City and North Carolina; an aunt, Candace Gaut Giger of Knoxville, TN; and a cousin, Alicia Wallace Gehring and her husband, Clayton, of Washington, DC.

A private family service will be held in Hendersonville.
