Please accept my sincere condolences for your recent loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. I have always received comfort from the Bibles’ word at Philippians 4:7 which reads “and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your heart and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus”.
I hope you can receive comfort from these words as well. Margo Simmons

I served as Asheville City Attorney from 1983-1996, covering most of the years that Mary Lloyd served on the City Council. I witnessed firsthand her many, many hours of service to make Asheville a better city. She was on the forefront of downtown redevelopment efforts that turned our city around. She was always a great pleasure to work with. My sincere sympathy to all of the family on the loss of a wonderful lady.
