Jordan Joel-Michael Banks

Jordan Joel-Michael Banks, 33 of Candler died June 4, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Jessica Nicole Salyers Banks of Candler; daughter, Emma Harper-Elise Banks of Candler, parents, David Brooks Banks of S.C. and Suzan Lynn Overfield Page of Colorado; sister, Jillian Isele (Micah) of Candler; and nephews, Isaiah, Elijah, and Jonah Isele, all of Candler. He received a BA degree from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in History. Everyone knew Jordan for his amazing sense of humor, tremendous athletic ability and unwavering selflessness. He was spiritually strong and compassionate, and above all, he loved and cherished his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held June 25, at the Farm (215 Justice Ridge Road, Candler, NC 28715) from 3 to 5PM. Jordan leaves a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those that knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving son, brother, husband and father. We are grateful for each and every day we got to see his glowing smile, the lessons learned, and all the jokes we shared.
