Johnny W. Hampton

 Johnny W. Hampton, 66, of Asheville passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011. He was born in Sylva to James and Thelma Hampton and proudly served our country during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, James B. Hampton.

He is survived by his sister, Virginia “Tootie” Hampton Jackson (Carroll) of Clyde; nieces, Regina Jackson, Toni Hannah, and Tammy Lordman; a special cousin and care provider, Albie Pabon of the home; a special friend, Sharon Northrup, and a host of other family members and friends.

 A remembrance celebration will be held at 3pm, Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the home, 25 Westwood Place, Asheville, NC 28806.
