It was with sorrow and faith that I heard from my father Dr Horace Adams of the death of the wonderful woman I called Aunt Jayne. I remember with great affection her care for me as a child and I can still see the joy that she and Uncle Ted had in each other's company. It saddens me to think of all the family I have lost from Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. Love to Jerry and Marilyn from Colorado.

We send condolences to Jayne's family. After we moved to Asheville in March of 1995 Jayne recruited me, Lisette, to help clean up the kitchen. She had done it for quite some time and was ready to give it up. Jayne was a shining light in our world. Such an example! I remember when she and Ted were honored during a church service.
Our best wishes to the family. Lisette and Bill de Groot

Jayne was a mentor to us when we joined Grace Covenant - if you needed something, all you needed to do was ask Jayne and she would either tell you how to do it or do it herself. She has been missed - she will live on in our memories, as does Ted.

Jerry & Marilyn, my condolences to you and your family on the death of your dear mother Jayne. She was a wonderful person and contributed so much to the life of Grace Covenant Church. I sing in the choir at GCPC and Jayne went on the last choir trip to Europe in 2000. She will be greatly missed.

I don't need to say what a wonderful person Jayne was, everyone knows that. She was a great friend and neighbor, a loving P.E.O. Sister and the epitome of what a Christian should be. The world needs more like her but they are so very few. May God bless you all in your loss.

Jayne and Ted are two dynamic people who have inculcated themselves into our memory of love. We laugh when we think of the episode of Ted stranded on the roof with Jayne being unaware. This being only one of the many "interesting" life events they shared with us. We honored Jayne for her constant works of love and devotion to so many in the name of Christ when the Bertha Lewis class gathered for a Christmas homily at a private home.
God's mercy was evident in all that Jayne means to so many.
Love,
Irene Dillingham Richards and Ken Richards
