Jann Doreen Putnam Fisher

Jann Doreen Putnam Fisher (63) of Alexander went home to be with her Heavenly Father as well as her earthly father, Harley Lee Putnam of Canton, on Sunday June 18th, 2017.  Born and raised in Canton, Jann is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jimmie Lee Fisher of Alexander, mother Doris Thomason Putnam of Canton, sister Rita Guy of Canton, daughters Yolanda Cristiani of Oriental and Angel Hitt of Marshall, and grandchildren Toni, Elisha, Trevor, Ethan, and Mason. 

Known for her kind, sweet spirit, Jann was an artist and loved painting, stained glass art, crocheting and was an extraordinary seamstress. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling with her husband. 

The immediate family will hold a private service. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the YMCA of WNC's Afterschool Care Program by going to ymcawnc.org, donate to annual fund, and credit to camp/youth services.
