Janet Beth DeBacker

Asheville- Janet Beth "Bunny" DeBacker, 67, passed away Sunday January 15, 2012 at Memorial Mission Hospital.  She was born August 1, 1944 to Earl Forest and Olievee Gwyn Chesher in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Kenneth DeBacker who passed away in 1969; and two sons: Mark and Matthew DeBacker.

Bunny is survived by her son Joseph Gutierrez; daughters: Suzie Hargrove, Bethany Peart, ReBeccah Jackson, and Mary Sullivan; sisters: Penny Larson, and Gail Dooley; grandchildren: Brittany, Josh, Daniella, Racheal, ReBecca, Felecia, Hannah, Tiffany, Mariah-Anne, Maria, Linda, Morgan and Nicholas; great-grandchildren: Daniel, Kansas, Kennedy, Starla, Gavin, Ben, Noah, Eli, Thomas, Jordan and Graham.

Bunny lived with a broken heart for many years, and will be laid to rest with her first love, her husband, and two sons. 

A private service will be held in June 2012 in Michigan with burial at North Side Cemetary.  In Lieu of flowers, please donate to Peart Residence located at 277 Lower Edgewood Rd. Candler, NC 28715 (will be given to MS Society and Cerebral  Palsey Society).
