Harvey "Don" Boone

Don Boone, 75, of Weaverville did it his way! He went into the arms of his Holy Creator on Sunday, October 8, 2017, and was greeted by his baby girl, Norma Jean; parents, Harlon and Estelle; and siblings, Barbara Anne and Gene Boone. Don resided in Weaverville most of his life and attended North Buncombe H. S. Alongside his brother, he worked at Daniel Boone Auto Sales for 35 years after 14 years with Drexel Furniture Company. At 18 Don married the light of his life, Barbara. Together had 3 children: Norma Jean Boone, David Harland Boone, and Christie Lynn Guacci; and two sons in heart, John Guacci and Robert Anderson. He was also blessed with grandchildren, Brittany Boone Devon Nelson and her spouse, Dustin, and Cameron Anderson; step grandsons: David, John, and Josh Guacci; and 5 great grandchildren; siblings: Daniel Boone, David Boone and his spouse, Lorena, Mary Lou Cole and her spouse, Garry, and Katherine Revis and her spouse, Rex; and many sister and brothers-in-law’s who he considered family. The family would like to thank his extended family at Davita Dialysis in Weaverville as he felt their love and his family are grateful. There will be a memorial celebration for all that want to share on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 4:00 PM at the Averys Little Corner Park beside Woodfin Police Department at 90 Elk Mountain Road, Woodfin, NC.
