Donald Martin Sherlin Sr. 11/9/1957 – 02/10/2018 Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 10, 2018. Donnie as everyone knew him was preceded in death by his mother and father and his twin brother Ronnie Sherlin. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Tina Sherlin, and two daughters and their husbands Penny Meisenzahl (Chris) and Carman Settle (BJ), one son Donald Sherlin Jr (Misti), 7 grandchildren,3 brothers Ken, Ray and Charles Sherlin, a sister Kay Robbins, a great grandchild, as well as multiple sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Autism Society of WNC, 306 Summit St, Asheville, NC 28803. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
