I graduated with Dave and later he became my brother in law. He will be missed but he is now in a better place.

My sympathies to David's family. May the hope expressed at Job 14:13-15 give you some comfort for your great loss.

Kaaren,

You have my deepest sympathies on David's passing. I never new him, but the little things like your descriptions of his patience driving you on photo excursions express his kindness.

Best,

Nat

We will miss Dave at our movie group every month. The test for whether Dave liked the movie was if he told us he had stayed awake during the whole movie. It was always interesting to discuss different points of view with Dave. He exuded kindness and civility. May he rest in peace.

Dear Kaaren and family,
Don and I are very sad to learn that Dave is no longer with us on this earth.
We knew him through the Heritage Sunday School Class at Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
I can picture Dave looking down from heaven with a peaceful smile on his face.
Sincerely,
Leslie & Don Stewart

We met Dave and Kaaren when they had just moved to Asheville. Dave and Joe struck up a friendship as they shared several interests - politics and finance. When the four of us would go out for dinner, inevitably the guys would be deep into their world as Kaaren and I were in ours. We had the pleasure of traveling with them on several occasions and always enjoyed it. I especially admired Dave’s sense of romance and the respect, love and courteousness he always showed Kaaren. He was a kind, gentle man; we need more men like Dave, not fewer.

We will miss Dave. He was a gentle and kind soul. We will be reminded of him every time we put on our name tags in Sunday school class. He is off to a better place.

I grew up with Dave, He was always a great friend and companion. We played and explored our environment as young boys. And chumed around together, all thru High School. We had many good times together. He was a great cousin.

God Bless
