Coy Eugene Radford

Coy Radford, passed peacefully August 15th at age 89.  He was born in Asheville and was a long time resident.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, animals and TV.

He served in Army Security in Germany just after WW2 and attended part of the Nuremburg trails.  He enjoyed Europe, especially Paris.  He returned to active duty in 1950 with ASA in DC.  He primarily worked in construction after leaving service.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary.  Other surviving family include sister Dale, brother Bobby and son Michael.

Services will be held at the family residence on Saturday the 26th at noon.  A military guard is scheduled.  Fellowship will follow services.
